The Rotary Club of Whyalla Norrie are committed to ShelterBox – helping to provide emergency shelter & tools to those who need it right now!
At this time, more than 104,000,000 (one hundred and four million) people around the world have been made homeless by disaster.
COLLABORATIONTHE ROTARY PARTNERSHIP
ShelterBox began in 2000 as a Cornish Rotary Club’s millennium project.
With the support of Rotary members and clubs around the world, ShelterBox grew to become an internationally recognised, independent disaster relief organisation.
Number of ShelterBoxes funded by our club
Since 2012, ShelterBox and Rotary have been official Project Partners in disaster relief.
As of August 2021, the Whyalla Norrie Rotary Club have funded 9 ShelterBoxes, a number we are proud of and always looking to increase.
